A Little Bit to Chairish.com

It's an exciting time in the Blogosphere as we reach more people, interests and continental distance seems to shrink! I enjoy reading such a range of blogs, from makeup gurus, decor and style specialists, health and wellness and spiritual helps. These connections make me feel like anything is possible and even though I may not have a Sarah Richardson budget, with her direction in her web writings and sharings and now her new book, we can all have a little Sarah Style...can't wait to get my hands on that sweet read.

Recently, I was introduced to Chairish   and wanted to create for you, a style board using products from their amazing website! What a neat place to dream, browse and of course, shop! (Disclaimer: I am not being paid, or given product, all ideas, thoughts and opinions are all my own, all photos are taken directly from the Chairish site and none are my own.)

Starting in a room that is plain and simple, perhaps all white, shooting some colour in can certainly call us up out of winter and ready to pounce on spring. With that in mind, I decided to plan a room that would bring me exactly that vision. We we smacked with 30 cm of snow today and warm cozy sounds great, but bright and fresh spring sounds even better.

My jumping off point is from a rug in the Chairish collection, called Grass Green Abrash Turkish Rug ... wow, a nice floor of thick green grass to stand on, lush and cool, sounds fantastic right now. This rug is described on their site as
  • Dimensions 64.0ʺW × 106.0ʺD × 0.25ʺH
  • Condition Excellent - Minor wear consistent with age and history.
  • Style Vintage, Turkish
Grass green dyes accentuate the naturally distressed fiber of this vintage rug, and is for sale currently at $1145.00 USD. But this is only one of many amazing options on the rugs page.

I'll be designing a bedroom around this rug, cause wow, nothing screams spring like grass green lushness.  Before I post my design board, here are a few more awesome offerings from Chairish.
